  • Submission of Documents: Applicants must submit an application form, a student health record, and their latest school reports for review.

  • Assessment Invitation: If there is an available place within the appropriate Year Group and the consideration criteria have been met, the student will be invited to visit RRIS to complete the required assessments.

  • Application Fee: There will be a non-refundable application fee of THB 5,000 charged on the day the student comes to the school for assessments.

  • Assessment Result Notification: Parents will be notified of the assessment result within 7 days after the assessment test.

ADMISSIONS POLICY

All applicants are required to adhere to our admissions policy, which includes the following steps:

  • Admission Process: The admission process comprises an assessment/admission test, a classroom visit (for Y1 and above), and behavior feedback from four teachers.

  • School Report Submission: All applicants are requested to submit a recent (the latest, if available) school report.

  • Admission Testing: Admission testing varies depending on the year groups. Generally, testing includes English, Mathematics, Science, and an interview. Younger students may require an in-class assessment.

  • Offer of Placement: The offer of a place is determined by the results of the tests and interview, as well as the student's ability to access the curriculum in English, Mathematics, and Science. Priority is given to students with siblings already in the school.

  • Special Needs: If an application is made for a student with a learning difficulty/physical disability, RRIS will consider that student, provided their specific needs can be supported. Consultation will take place with our Learning Support Department if appropriate. If RRIS cannot support the student's needs, alternative schools may be suggested.

  • Confirmation of Placement: Confirmation of the offer of a place is subject to the parents filling out the application form and submitting all required documentation. Additionally, the payment of the first term’s fees must be made in advance. This includes the Application Fee, Admission Fee, and other applicable fees.

  • Year Group Placement: All admitted students are placed into their appropriate year group based on the academic year, which begins in August.
